How do fellows afford to live in San Francisco?

How do fellows afford to live in San Francisco?

San Francisco is one of the most amazing cities in the world, and as such rent here can be expensive. Luckily, the University of California provides generous compensation to  fellows, which allows fellows sufficient funds to afford housing in San Francisco. Fellows have not had a problem finding great housing in our beautiful city! In addition, each resident receives a generous meal card allowance to cover the cost of most meals while at each campus.
